Video of Howler Monkey at the Napo Wildlife Center
This is a short and compressed video taken on the
stream behind the Napo Wildlife Center. |
The Napo Wildlife Center Reserve has eleven species of monkeys, and Howler Monkeys are the largest of them. The calls of Howler Monkeys are one of the best known and most distinctive sounds of the jungle, and is often heard at the Napo Wildlife Center. Howler Monkeys eat vegetation and often sit in the sun to help them digest the plant material, so they are often seen from the dining hall tower and the forest canopy tower. |
