There are large plastic containers with drinking water in case you need to refill you plastic bottle. The idea is that you take a bottle with you and try to use as less plastic as you can. The NWC uses water from the lagoon for bathrooms of the lodges. The place is equipped with a wastewater treatment system, so the water is clean and safe for its usage.
As for electricity, the Napo Wildlife Center ecolodge has a modern system of electricity with solar panels, batteries and diesel engines that provide the Center with electricity 24 hours a day. Also there are 110-volt outlets in the cabins and in the main rooms and also some 220-volt outlets in case you need to charge your phone or use some electric item.
The Napo Wildlife Center has a two-way radio that connects the lodge with its office in Quito and its office in Coca. Sometimes the mobile services can reach the Center.
