First, great hotel experience in the middle of the headwaters of... read more the Amazon. Beautiful, clean rooms set on the gorgeous black lake. Hoitzins sitting in the trees outside our room, with a caimen in the waters below. Clean, comfortable, and spacious room.
The food is generous and delicious!
Our guide, Remy, took great care of us. Our boat driver Mariano as well. Kind, professional, and very knowledgeable. We were busy from (before) dawn til the afternoon with beautiful canoe and walking tours of the area. We saw so much! Birds, monkeys, plants.really extraordinary.
The YouTube video really captures it all. This lodge is a labor of love, built by the local community. I’ve never visited anywhere like Napo!
